Silk Satin Square Scarf with Mandala in Dark Brown 60cm

Middle size scarf made from soft and luxurious twill silk. Twist the scarf into a loose roll and drape it around your neck. Tie it up as a headscarf or shape it into a bandanna for a day at the beach. The scarf has a sophisticated hand-rolled three-dimensional trim around the edges. The traditional screen printing process creates bold bright colours with a unique lustre on both sides. 

Inspiration

The pattern of the “Malachite Box” collection is inspired by Pavel Bazhov's fairy tale set in the Ural region of Russia. In this story, the Mistress of the Copper Mountain has changed herself into a lizard, guarding the malachite stonemasons in the mysterious Mountains. This was a time when spirits of the mountains and forests moved among humans, watching them, seeking out those who could be taught their secrets before the ancient wisdom was lost forever. The rare and exquisite jewels in the Malachite Box can only be worn by the few girls selected.
